Jonathan McRoy
Jonathan McRoy is a decorated United States Air Force veteran and a seasoned leader in organizational development. Currently serving as the Vice President of Administration at Goodwill Industries of Kansas, Jonathan oversees Human Resources, Training and Development, Operations Excellence, and IT departments. His career began in the United States Air Force, providing a solid foundation in organizational systems, people management, and program management.
With a rich background spanning government, nonprofit, private, and higher education sectors, Jonathan has led strategic initiatives aimed at creating long-term value by engaging stakeholders to diagnose business challenges and tailoring interventions to address deficiencies and meet specific organizational needs. As an adjunct Professor of Practice, he imparts practical knowledge to students, bridging the gap between theoretical learning and real-world application.
Jonathan serves as a Regent of the Institute of Certified Professional Managers and an advisor on the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council. He holds a Master of Science degree in Management and a professional doctorate in leadership. His credentials also include certification as an organizational designer and Six Sigma Black Belt Professional.
His military and professional accolades include the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal, First Oak Leaf Cluster, Global War on Terrorism Service and Expeditionary medals, and the Institute of Certified Professional Managers “Managerial Excellence” award. Jonathan is a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, the Masonic Order, the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the National Society of Leadership and Success.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Jonathan is an avid reader and actively participates in civic activities, travels, and supports veteran causes, continuously seeking to expand his knowledge and engage in community service.
