Black Maternal Health Week
Centering Black Mental Health: A Conversation on Mental Health & Parenting!
The recent death of former Chiefs cheerleader, Krystal Anderson, tragically highlights the disparities in Black maternal health outcomes. The Kansas Birth Equity Network has been a voice for change for years. Join them for Black Maternal Health Week on Saturday, April 13 from 10:30am-2:00pm at KCKCC Technical Education Center for a robust conversation on mental health and the Black birthing & parenting experience.
This free event will feature amazing speakers, swag bags, vendors, prizes for parents, community resources, free lunch, and childcare!
